Jack Shirley
CPA

Jack Shirley, CPA, is a partner at Friedman, Brannen LLP.  He has a decade of experience in tax, fiduciary accounting, business operations, accounting information systems, and auditing.

Prior to his career in accounting, Jack spent several years as a college-level instructor and desktop publisher. Jack taught evening courses in QuickBooks, Excel, and Word at Utah Valley State College’s adult education center.  As an instructor, he organized the workbooks for many of the Microsoft Office courses and authored the center’s first QuickBooks course manual.

Jack is an active member of the American Institute and California Society of Certified Public Accountants. 

He was born and raised in Southern California.  Jack graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accountancy.  He later received a masters degree in computer information systems management from the University of Phoenix.

Jack is married and the proud father of four children.   He is actively involved with his local church and works with The Boy Scouts of America.
