Bio Image Print Page Jack M. Shirley, CPA, is a partner at Friedman Brannen LLP. He has a decade of experience in estate and income tax, financial planning, fiduciary accounting, business operations, and accounting information systems.

Jack is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Prior to his career in accounting, Jack worked as a desktop publisher and taught night courses in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office programs at Utah Valley State College's adult education center. As an instructor, he authored the center's first QuickBooks course manual.

Jack was born and raised in Southern California. He received a bachelors degree in accounting from Brigham Young University and a masters degree in computer information systems management from University of Phoenix.

Jack is married and the proud father of four children. He is actively involved with his local church and, outside of spending time with his family, particularly enjoys working with the youth of his congregation and performing community service projects.
